At Jalu we understand the precious nature of a child and our planet which is why we are committed to using only organic fibers.  The certified organic cotton used in our products not only protects a baby's delicate skin from harsh chemicals and toxins, it also protects the environment. 

A baby’s skin is more porous and thinner than an adult’s skin which means that their skin absorbs things very easily.  Toxins are everywhere in our world these days, our food, our air, and even our clothes. 

Conventionally farmed cotton uses more pesticides than any other crop in the world and when it leaves the field, traces of these pesticides remain in the fibers.  These dangerous chemicals can be absorbed through a baby’s thin skin.   By eliminating these chemicals, organically grown cotton offers a multitude of benefits - farmers have better working conditions, water quality is not compromised by run-off, and strong healthy soil is built.

Jalu baby products are exceptionally soft and durable because the organic cotton we use is free from these chemicals which can irritate delicate skin and cause the fibers to break down.
